Operations & Customer Service

Our support team is focused on one thing, our customers. They partner with our customers to solve business problems in real time and provide ongoing support to our merchant base regarding billing, pricing, system errors, and overall transaction processing inquiries.

"“I launched the Partner Support Team with the help of Bain Consulting, which was great because it gave me a chance to see a project through from start to finish."

Tian Walcott, Operations Escalations Manager, Atlanta

One of the best things about working at Worldpay is the opportunity for progression. I joined in April 2007 and have already held five different positions. Two years after starting as a Customer Care Rep, I was promoted to National Account Manager before moving to the Call Quality Department as an Analyst. I was promoted again to Operations Supervisor before stepping into my current role as Operations Escalations Manager a year ago.

2014 has been my most challenging year at Worldpay. I was tasked with forming new teams, which I wasn’t sure I’d be able to do, but I tapped into my potential and was able to showcase talents I didn’t even know I had.

"My most exciting project was the implementation of the new call center phone system. As the subject matter expert, it was exciting to see my data succeed."

Kamela Gibbs, Business Intelligence Manager, Atlanta

Since joining Worldpay in 2010, I have advanced through the ranks quickly – being promoted at least once a year. Now, as a Business Intelligence Manager, it’s up to me to help business users get to grips with their business processes and make sure they’re running things as efficiently as they can be. It’s a demanding role, and with three children at home – one just two years old – my personal life is equally as demanding. But that’s where Worldpay are different. I have been fully supported in my need to put my children first.

They have offered me alternative work schedules and plenty of reassurance that I’m valued as a member of staff. It’s great to work for a company that reminds me that I am appreciated, encourages me to be better and provides me with the opportunities to do so.
