Here at Worldpay we are currently looking for a strong hands-on OBIEE Developer as part of our development team. You'll have a hands-on background working on ETL packages/load plans with ODI (10g and 11g), Oracle Database, Business Intelligence (OBIEE 11g), BI Publisher (BI Pub 11g) and a firm and clear understanding of Data Warehouse development principles.

What Do You Need To Have?

  • Develop an understanding of the client business and processes and make recommendations to implement solutions and improve efficiency.
  • Report development using OBIEE and BI publisher.
  • ETL using Oracle Data Integrator.
  • Work closely with other departments and peers to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
  • Conform to documentation, coding and quality standards as defined.
  • Review, discuss and work within agreed timescales.
  • Understand OBIEE application architecture and ETL using ODI in order to effectively troubleshoot problems or develop more efficient processes.
  • Complete all tasks related to technical analysis, build out, unit testing and implementation in accordance with the SDLC.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation and processes to enable ongoing support of the systematic solutions.

Technical Knowledge

  • Must have an understanding of Data Warehouse design principles.
  • Must have an understanding of the software development life cycle. Solid experience of working in project teams.
  • Desire to stay abreast of new development tools and methods.
  • Proven systems development experience using OBIEE.

  • Experience working with ELT tools and techniques such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
  • Must have a good understanding of the OBIEE architecture
    • Must have the ability to designing and developing repositories using Star Schema that includes the use of facts, dimensions (including SCDs), hierarchies, measures and aggregation.
    • Must have the ability to design, develop, and implement OBIEE dashboards and reports.
  • Must have the ability to implementing OBIEE security at various levels.
  • Must have the ability to performance tune OBIEE reports. Experience in OBIEE merge functionality is a considered a plus.
  • Experience in OBIEE systems administration is considered a plus.
  • Background knowledge of Oracle Financials, Revenue Management and Billing and Financial Services industry experience are considered a plus.

  • Must have good organization and planning skills.
  • Be able to work under pressure and multi-task while remaining professional and courteous.
  • Exceptional ability to analyse requirements / problems and to propose innovative but workable solutions
  • Team player, Open minded, flexible, and willing to listen for other people's opinions. Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate over the phone and via email with a variety of individuals at all technical levels are required.
