Security Assurance Team Lead
Security Assurance Team Lead
Why is our Security Assurance team the next step for you?
The Security Assurance team at Worldpay has a global remit to demonstrate Worldpay’s security risks are managed effectively, in line with strategy and mitigates the evolving threat landscape. The team is responsible for assuring technology projects throughout their lifecycle, in order to identify and mitigate security risks prior to new systems and functionality becoming operational. Assurance activities also extend to existing technologies, from time to time, in order to provide assurance of the overall security posture of existing business applications.
How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
In this role, you’ll work closely with colleagues throughout Enterprise Security to ensure that security architectures and designs are adhered to, and that security testing, such as penetration testing, is conducted upon the technologies within each project. You’ll lead a team of Assurance Specialists and act as a conduit between Enterprise Security and the Project Management Office to ensure a robust and transparent security assurance process.
You’ll ensure the successful and on-going implementation of the security programme in all core business projects through the management of technology projects via Worldpay’s Secure Systems Development Lifecycle. You’ll prepare project assurance documentation required for key governance forums, assist in building and improving key risk management frameworks and processes, and implement and measure compliance against a consolidated control framework (Worldpay security policies and standards, PCI DSS, ISO27001, GDPR, etc.)
What will make you the ideal candidate?
You’ll have extensive information and cyber security experience, and experience with security control assessment within a technical project framework. You’ll have technology risk management experience, the ability to translate technical details into business risk statements and to assess risk pragmatically and proportionately. You’ll have experience of the regulatory and compliance environment within the financial services industry, and the ability to assess risks relating to change and developments around online services and applications.
In this role, we will also need someone with the ability to analyse multiple sources of information with assistance from subject matter experts (designs, pen test reports, vulnerability scan reports, threat intel) to gauge the overall risk posture of technology projects and translate this into language IT and Business stakeholders can understand. Payments industry experience is ideal as well as knowledge of PCI and ISO27001:2013.
