How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
Investigating and troubleshooting production system problems, you’ll be critical to both Worldpay’s and our customer’s ongoing success. Working alongside the Infrastructure and Development teams to coordinate cross-department change, you’ll ensure optimum service availability whilst maximising the throughput of required change. Providing 24/7 out of hours on call support on a rota basis, you’ll be responsible for coordinating and implementation of essential tasks including statistic gathering and maintaining document knowledge.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
You will have extensive experience supporting a technology team in a busy environment. You’ll be an expert in relational databases, including experience of database design in MS SQL. You will have an interest in application support/programming, and will be able to logically work through app fixes by understanding the way they work and order they run. You will have experience in Unix/Linux. You will be able to generate dashboards and will be able to automate simple tasks through scripting using Powershell.
