Our team is responsible for delivering deliver consistent, actionable and meaningful reporting & insight to enhance the running of the business & inform data-driven decisions in Global Operations. We work closely with our colleagues in Operations to understand their business and help them drive performance and meet our customers’ needs.

Since Worldpay's recent merger, the team's remit has grown creating an excellent opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join us supporting both our UK and US businesses. 

How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?

As a senior analyst (BI developer), you will take end-to-end ownership on reporting deliverables, collaborating with stakeholders and the rest of our team throughout. You will work collaboratively to ensure business requirements and challenges are understood, managing stakeholder expectations & timelines for deliverables.  You will consolidate disparate data sources into a single data warehouse enabling a ‘single source of the truth’ for analysis. You will develop & automate reporting outputs to reduce time spent on BAU tasks and allow time for analysis & insight, enabling the team to scale. You will deliver meaningful reports to drive operational performance.

What will make you the ideal candidate?

You will have proven ability working with structured & unstructured data, working with large data sets and identifying data quality issues. You will have a solid understanding of data warehousing principles, and you will have hands-on experience using ETL tools to automate data flow tasks (ideally SSIS). You will have a proven track record in automating data / reporting processes to deliver efficiencies. You will have extensive experience using SQL & Excel to analyse business problems, and providing meaningful reports to drive business performance. You will be an excellent communicator, proactive, commercially minded, and be able to manage stakeholders at all levels.
