We are looking for an administrator to support our collections and recoveries team in Manchester. This role will support a number of work streams with the collective aim of reducing bad debt charge and improving cash flow.
How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
You nwill be responsible for all cash reconciliations of multi currency bank accounts and the workflow management relating to cash allocation and receipting activity. You will take ownership of processing cancelled and rejected Direct Debit aswell as managing credits and refunds. This is a highly visible role you will be main point of contact for internal teams and business customers providing support, guidance and query resolution for billing requirements. You will take owneship of reporting on monthly figures using both quantitative and qualitative managment information. We are looking for a pro-active person to support with the continuous process improvement and change implementations happening in the business.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
Ideally you will have a strong background in reconciliations; with some experience of working within a Collections or regulated environment. This role requires a pro-active person with good problem solving skills and an analytical mind. You must be adept at multi tasks and manage tight deadlines. Ideally you will have some knowledge of Bacs & Direct debit requirements and a good working knowledge of Excel. This role has a high level of interaction with both internal and external stakeholders so you must be a confident communicator with good negotiation and influencing skills.
