How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?

This ISN’T a ‘360 degree’ recruitment role – it’s more focused than that.

You will work in a team supporting our Talent Acquisition Business Partners, who in turn 'own' the relationships with different stakeholders across Worldpay and run the broader recruitment process. Your primary function will be focused on sourcing and screening candidates for a wide range of open vacancies.

We won’t drop you in at the deep end but we’ll get you up-to-speed quickly. Once there, you’ll typically work on up to 20 roles at a time across a range of areas including software engineering, data science, project management, cyber-security, sales, marketing, finance, operations etc.

As well as managing active candidate responses you’ll need to be proactive in identifying passive candidates that are a technical and cultural fit. Screening candidates by telephone, video and in person, you'll also provide insight and advice to Talent Acquisition Business Partners - and where appropriate, to line managers - around the availability of certain skills, salary requirements etc.

What will make you the ideal candidate?

We are looking for a switched-on Recruiter or Resourcer – ideally you have some previous experience recruiting in a relevant area but we’re more interested in attitude and approach as we’ll help you to learn quickly.

You’ll be naturally inquisitive and used to figuring out solutions. You will be someone who gets a buzz out of going to market and finding talent that others can’t. You'll be confident in using a variety of tools and in building networks via various social media platforms.

We’re ideally looking for someone with a focus on the candidate sourcing stage of the recruitment life-cycle. Or you may have done end-to-end recruitment in the past but prefer the sourcing stage. You may be an agency recruiter wanting to make the move in-house, or moving directly from a similar in-house role elsewhere – we don’t mind. But we do want someone who is passionate about recruitment!
