Why is our “Release Analyst“ the next step for you?

The Worldpay UK Release Management function sits within Worldpay’s New Acquiring Platform programme, you will need to be able to own the Release Management lifecycle within the Programme, which includes scheduling, coordinating and the management of releases for multiple application and infrastructure changes. You will be exposed to working on a broad range of releases; these can be anything from application updates, operating system patches, security improvements, hardware upgrades, etc.

How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?

As part of the Release Management Team ensure that releases are delivered following the Worldpay standard policy, processes and best practices. Manage and Maintain SharePoint, key communications and information regarding the release (Notifications, documentation) etc. Responsible for ensuring that changes to the functionality and capability of Worldpay’s Payment(s) processing platform(s) (in the form of updated software and components) are deployed successfully and without negative customer impact.

What will make you the ideal candidate?

Coordinate releases to ensure that the integrity of the live environment is protected and that the correct components are released for the Worldpay Total and Worldpay Total Mobile Platform(s). Contribute to the design and implementation of the release processes from build, through test and defect fixing, to the release of new or changed software in to Live with the guidance of the Release Manager. Monitor the efficiency and effectiveness of the Release management process across the organisation, and make recommendations for improvement. Maintain quality checks on releases and record those that directly or indirectly cause support Incidents. Maintain documentation and evidence as required by the agreed and specified process & governance models, and regulatory/legal requirements, Responsibility for maintaining the appropriate levels PCI related release audit controls. Maintaining a rolling release calendar for the products & gateway with clear visibility for stakeholders and business change sponsors on SharePoint and with appropriate agreed notifications. Contribute to Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) across the Worldpay Total and Worldpay Total  Release process ensuring maximum change throughput whilst eradicating service impact. Analyse Incident logs caused by releases to identify occasions where process has not been followed and based on analysis of Incidents recommend improvements

▪  Minimum 2 plus years of Hands on Release and Deployment Process Experience

▪  Demonstrable experience of multi-tasking whilst delivering high quality flawless output

▪   A solid track record of ‘on time delivery’ in a similar environment/role.

▪  Proven ability to operate and interact at multiple levels within an organisationTotal Exp in incident, change, release & service operations of 7 Years at least.

▪  An understanding of the various common software release processes / lifecycles (specifically Agile methodologies) and source code control

▪  Excellent communication skills, written and spoken,  Excellent collaborative skills
