Why is our Security Governance team the next step for you?

The Security Governance team is a key liaison between all facets of the organisation and the global Enterprise Security team. Whilst supporting the overall Enterprise Security team in their strategic aims, the Security Governance team’s core responsibilities include security policy management, information security audit co-ordination and oversight, along with assurance of information security controls across the Group.

How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?

As part of the team, you’ll support Worldpay’s information security compliance programme by co-ordinating external audits, particularly PCI DSS audits, and in doing so, manage the logistics of audits and their follow up activities, working with Qualified Security Assessors (QSAs) along with business and technical stakeholders throughout. You’ll also support regulatory audits (e.g. IT General Controls audits).

Support of these audits will include:

- Arranging logistics of gap assessments/ self-assessments and report creation prior to the QSA assessment

- Identification and maintenance of relevant stakeholder lists for security controls

- Tracking of risks and issues related to compliance activity

- Arranging audit logistics, including audit interviews, meetings and travel arrangements

- Collecting evidence of control effectiveness and providing associated management information on evidence status and progress including overall audit progress

- Tracking of non-conformities and providing associated managing information on status and progress of remediation activities

- Tracking of project compliance and supporting the project assurance team to gather evidence

- Co-ordinate review and sign-off of audit reports, as necessary.

What will make you the ideal candidate?

To be successful in this role, you’ll need strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail. You’ll ideally have some project management experience or knowledge of risk, compliance, audit or security governance. You’ll have great stakeholder management skills and the ability to build strong relationships with people across business and technology. We are looking for someone who has an open and collaborative approach, who can work under pressure with consecutive or multiple time critical challenges, and who’ll show initiative and ability to take ownership.

Any prior knowledge of PCI DSS audits or managing audits in an organisation is advantageous, but not essential as you can learn this on the job.
