Why is our Regional Director role the next step for you?

This role will be home based, managing a team of field sales people targeting new clients in the SME sector. You and your team will be responsible for target clients in the Midlands.

 

The key purpose of the role is to deliver the monthly and annual regional budget/target for sales

 

You will manage & lead up to 14 field-based ‘business development’ sales people who acquire new-to-Worldpay customers through self-generation and conversion of provided leads. You will take responsibility for recruitment, performance management, development and retention and develop & drive trusted relationships within the sales channel in order to maximise performance.

You will create a clear vision for success that is tightly aligned to the overall SME sales strategy and be able to drive a culture of excellence across the sales force in order to achieve high performance, delivery against targets & continuous improvement.

What will make you the ideal candidate?

You will be a proven performer with a background in managing teams of direct field sales people in a business development environment. You will be a ‘hands-on’ sales manager able to demonstrate skills in coaching and developing team members and will boast excellent leadership qualities. You will be used to achieving targets in a high productivity environment, whilst balancing this with a ‘value based’ approach to selling. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also important and you will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to develop clear action plans and drive processes with numerous interdependencies. Other important traits include strong problem solving skills, analytical capabilities and collaboration skills. You will be results driven and customer focused with a genuine commitment to quality.

 

This role will involve extensive travel around the sales territory and to Worldpay offices in the UK.
