First step into finance? First step into FTSE100 environment? Worldpay has literally hundreds of bank accounts in multiple currencies. Credits and Debits happen on a daily basis, exceptions requiring direct intervention happen on a daily basis through Investigations and resolutions. Management require visibility and your information will provide that.

What can I expect to be doing on a day to day basis?
Reconciliation of accounts/statements in accordance with the Reconciliation Policy. You will update journals including substantiation of profit and loss entries, investigating errors and rejected payments. Liaising with internal and external contacts you will take responsibility for resolving issues identified. Operating flexibly you will contribute to wider daily/weekly/monthly/annual team objectives and deadlines. As your experience develops you will be expected to increasingly contribute towards identifying and implementing process efficiencies and improvements.
What will make me right for the role?
You will be a recent graduate, preferably in Accounting & Finance (or similar) looking to embark on their career in finance. Alternatively, you may already be working in which case you will be ideally part way towards completing an AAT (or ACCA) qualification with a commitment to developing you career in a finance / operational finance capacity. You will be highly organised, deadline oriented, tenacious, a great team player and have the interpersonal skills to resolve queries in a face to face environment (rather than exclusively over the phone or email).
