How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?

Capacity Analyst is responsible for providing reports on behalf of the Infrastructure and Operations Department (I&O) in a fast paced ITIL environment. The purpose is to ensure that all capacity data from disparate sources is delivered, transformed, analysed, challenged, ratified with TSO’s and SME’s and reported in line with the latest capacity reporting policy. Timely delivery of regular capacity reports while maintaining focus on the program of change as the strategic plan for a centralised capacity reporting solution is implemented.

 What will make you the ideal candidate?

We are looking for someone who has experience in Extraction of data from disparate sources using a variety of specialist tools. Analysis and validation of data. Extrapolation and trend line analysis. Extraction of key capacity issues. Communication with Technical Service Owners (TSO’s) and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s)  responsible for individual platform and Service health. creation of concise and meaningful reports. Tenacity for Continuous Improvement. Meticulous maintenance of data and tracking of report versions.

 Capacity management experience across a broad range of infrastructure 

- Good data analysis skills (with ability to validate and substantiate data)

- An objective and inquisitive mind

- Ability to adapt and learn new skills as new tools are adopted.

- Report writing and output skills using a variety of methods / tools including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

- ITIL v3 Foundation certified

- Excellent  communication skills both written and verbal

- Able to work in to tight timescales and in a demanding fast paced environment

- Good level of Written Communication and presentation skills
