Latin America is a really exciting and important region for Worldpay. eCommerce sales are growing incredibly fast here, reaching more than USD 56 billion (and still climbing). Our team in Argentina is based out of Buenos Aires and the opportunities in this market are huge.
How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
You will be managing a diverse mix of global customers mostly operating in the Travel & Airline space but this may change as we grow the customer base. The customer group can be located in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, Bolivia and Panama, and will have a global footing. You will be responsible for managing these relationships from a global perspective.
You will develop and execute a relationship management strategy for your portfolio, which defines priorities for cross-sell and share of wallet opportunities by identifying and mobilising and delivering the right solutions, people, resource and ideas from across your organisation, based on thorough understanding of customer strategy and growth ambitions.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
It is essential that you have strong communication and listening skills, business acumen and personal drive. You are able to communicate and influence all levels of the customer organisation, including executive and C-level. Ideally coming from a Technology, Finance or payments background, you will have managed a portfolio of corporate customers, in a commercial capacity. Ideally you will have international experience and / or dealt with international customers from the Airline & Travel vertical. Due to the international nature of the role, we’d expect you to travel about 30% of your time.
You will have good understanding of Spanish and English – both in speaking and in writing. Portuguese language skills would be additional asset.
