Data Governance Analyst

Worldpay is one of the largest global payments (Fintech) businesses in the world that has put data at the centre of the business by creating a new Data Transformation team that spans business and technology. At the heart of this is our large Hadoop based Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) that will be used to provide data insights both to our internal teams and our customers.
How will you add value on a day-today basis?
You’ll be the point of contact for certain data governance technical issues and solutions. You’ll contribute to the implementation and management of end to end data governance approaches, technical reviews of data governance tools and implementation. Actively contribute to Key Design Decision processes and definition of procedures, focussing on Data Governance KDDs. Ensure that our EDP is compliant with all aspects of security including protecting both PII and PCI data. Understanding and manage the metadata associated with our systems and look for opportunities to exploit that metadata
What will make you the ideal candidate?
We are looking for candidates who have experience of implementing data governance approaches. Experience in data security including knowledge and experience in PCI and PII compliance. A good understanding of governance of the software development lifecycle. Experience of working with Business stakeholders to identify and resolve data governance issues.
