This is an opportunity for you to make a real difference in a FTSE100 business. The Treasury Team keeps our business flowing through the management of the Worldpay Group's debt, cash, FX exposures and banking relationships. As Treasury Analyst you will be a key member of the New Acquiring Platform (NAP) delivery team who are responsible for implementing critical processes used to safeguard customer funds, FX trading and cash forecasting. NAP is a hugely significant technology platform, that we have invested large amounts of time and money into building and represents the cutting edge of the payments industry. You will be responsible for supporting the move onto the NAP platform through testing critical reports ensuring there is a good control environment is maintained at all times while hitting our project milestones.
How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
Working across the wider team you will be supporting the Treasury team for an integration of NAP. You’ll be involved in testing of the new system through documenting processes and reports, flagging issues and maintaining a project report and risk matrix. Your key drivers will be supporting with the project delivery and implementation, working with the whole Treasury Team and the wider Worldpay business to ensure success. This is a senior role within the Treasury NAP team and there will be a need to stand in for the Business Service Owner from time to time.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
You will have demonstrable finance or treasury experience and a good understanding of the merchant settlement cycle. Some forecasting experience is also advantageous. We're looking for a motivated pro-active team player, able to prioritise your time effectively - so a pragmatic approach to completing tasks will work well. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business, so excellent influencing and communication skills are also a must-have.
Technically, you will have excellent Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel and solid numerical skills. It would also be great to see some project experience or exposure to critically examining existing processes and recommending process improvements.
