Revenue Assurance Manager

Reporting to the Senior Revenue Assurance Manager, this role will help create a centre of excellence to work with the appropriate COO, Finance and Commercial teams in order to maximise the realisation of revenue that we are due from customers.
The Revenue Assurance function will act as a team of investigative internal consultants, working with selected areas of the business to fully understand our financial flows and improve the state of play in tracking and realisation. The majority of interventions will be project-like in nature, such that each engagement should ultimately end with the BAU business team(s) being able to operate the improved process independently.
The role holder will analyse complex technical and commercial data sets to quantify risks and opportunities across the areas identified by the RA analysts. In addition, they will be responsible to developing an enduring toolset to monitor, report and mitigate against margin leakage.
Key responsibilities include:
Analyse complex data sets to investigate and establish the root cause of revenue leakage and margin degradation
Data modelling and analysis to quantify impact of specific use cases / customer scenarios and opportunity analysis (financial quantification)
Extract key findings and analysis from the data and translate this for the wider audience
Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to the Revenue Assurance team as and when required
Help to build and maintain a central Revenue Assurance Toolset to enable automation of insights, KPIS, reports and repeatable BAU controls
Analytical problem solving through the use of data
- Experience of best practice data architecture and governance
- Two or more years of complex data analytics and coding experience in SQL
- Excellent SQL / PL/SQL design and implementation experience
- Excellent numerical, problem solving and analytical skills
- Analytical approach to problem solving
- Ability to deliver to an agreed timeframe
