Join our Risk specialists in a complex, dynamic FTSE 100 Business. Support the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Group's Operational Risk framework.
How will you add value on a day to day basis?
You’ll support a wide range of business functions to maintain their Operational Risk business model and control environment, acting as an escalation point for the business on risk issues. Through conducting strategic analysis and reviews you will help to identify training needs and opportunities for process improvements across the business. You’ll provide advice and guidance on change to ensure controls are documented, effective, and in line with regulatory requirements and industry good practice. We will provide training and support to develop you into a subject matter expertise within Operational Risk Framework.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
Ideally, you’ll have at least 1 to 2 years demonstrable experience in Operational Risk. General knowledge of other Risk disciplines such as (Regulatory, Fraud and Credit) would be beneficial particularly an appreciation of how these impact on business performance.
You will have experience reviewing and analysing complex information, understanding issues and pro-actively finding solutions to drive best practice.
As this role requires a large amount of interaction with stakeholders you must have solid communication and interpersonal skills and confidence to manage difficult conversations, both internally and externally.
You will have a high level of commercial acumen and be able to work in a fast-paced changing environment. Lastly, we are looking for smart, spirited and supportive people who are passionate about our customers and strive to do the right things the right way.
