Revenue Assurance Senior Manager

Revenue Assurance Senior Manager

Why say Yes to Worldpay?

Exciting times! The existence of a Revenue Assurance function suggests an organisation has achieved a certain size, complexity and maturity. At an early stage of delivery with heaps of green-field opportunities, there is significant scope and territory in this role to plug revenue leakage and implement revenue improvement initiatives. As Worldpay drives through a period of corporate change this highly visible area will deliver variety and opportunity.

What will I be doing on a day to day basis?

Reporting to the VP Revenue Assurance, this role is an opportunity to help create a centre of excellence to work with the appropriate COO, Finance and Commercial teams in order to maximise the realisation of revenue that we are due from customers. The Revenue Assurance function will act as a team of investigative internal consultants, working with selected areas of the business to fully understand our financial flows and improve the state of play in tracking and realisation. The majority of interventions will be project-like in nature, such that each engagement should ultimately end with the BAU business team(s) being able to operate the improved process independently.

Operating in a collaborative manner you will identify opportunities to improve revenue and reduce cost and working capital requirements, championing these opportunities with the relevant business units. Across all business units you will detect and address errors impacting customer charging, invoicing and payments. Via this undertaking you will be required to capture and enhance the related financial and operational processes and drive automation, formulating business cases and quantify justification for required changes. Ensure effective controls and accurate reporting of revenue flows, allocated at customer-level, across all products / services and business units supported with defined KPIs. You will support and drive analysis of large data sets (using SQL) identifying appropriate indicators.

What will make me right for the role?

You will have previous experience within a revenue assurance function (or similar) where you have provided quality assurance activities. A mixture of large scale and “quick win” project experience would be beneficial as would a sound working knowledge of data analysis using SQL. Committed to seeing things through to completion, you should have excellent organisational skills with an ability to manage a number of co-running activities. Influencing and persuading skills are vital to garner the necessary support to deliver your recommended changes.
