Operating with the most senior stakeholders within our business, your specialist knowledge will enable colleagues to make significant business critical decisions.
What can I expect to be doing on a day to day basis?
Engaging directly with the company Deputy Chairman, Director of Public Policy, General Counsel and other members of the Strategic leadership team, you will identify public policy issues, opportunities and challenges for the organisation. Participating in business initiatives and projects, you will provide strategic insight ensuring Worldpay retains a focused policy agenda. Review and advice around regulatory risks, devising a policy programme and representing Worldpay in industry forums are all key elements of the role.
What will make me right for the role?
Significant expertise and experience, supported by qualifications, with either economic regulation or payment/financial services regulation. A demonstrable track record of developing creative and strategic public policies and a current awareness of regulatory developments in the payments landscape (or similar). Effective stakeholder communication and influencing skills along with the writing/presentation skills to deliver high quality policy papers and slide decks for discussion at Exec/SLT level. Problem solving skills and a strategic approach along with excellent organisational skills and commercial acumen.
