Our Business Support Function truly sits at the heart of our global operations framework. The back office support infrastructure could become front page news were something significant to break. In this role you will be a guardian of our business ensuring processes are correctly documented, risks identified and highlighted and established controls remain effective and appropriate. You will gain a superb insight to the workings of a global technology driven payments business during a time of technological and organisational evolution. Your contribution and surveillance will support and drive our ongoing success and quality commitment to our customers.

What can I expect to be doing on a day to day basis?

Taking the lead on first line controls and assurance for the business support function you will perform regular risk and control matrix reviews across the business. Conducting thorough analysis and testing you will identify and escalate control design and operational effectiveness issues to senior business management. Tracking your recommendations you will keep line managers aware of any remediation activities as well as procedural breaches. Forging close working relationships with the Operational Risk function as well as Internal Audit, you will operate in a collaborative and supportive manner whilst providing regular MI and Insight for Senior Management.

What will make me right for the role?

You will be a confident self-motivated assurance professional with at least 3 years previous experience in a controls testing/internal audit environment (or similar). You will be a highly effective communicator able to balance a level of interrogation with a solutions focused approach. Organised with a methodical approach previous experience within the Financial Services (or Payments) sector would be beneficial.
