Worldpay is a global leader in payment processing. We facilitate the safe and secure movement of money on behalf of other global businesses such as Skype, Google and British Airways. Processing over 7 billion transactions annually, Worldpay supports transactions across a wide variety of card types in a wide variety of currencies all the while against a backdrop of fraud prevention. Within the ecommerce Finance team this vacancy has arisen to support month end activities such as reporting, budgeting and forecasting as well as adding-value analytical support to the divisional P&L.
What can I expect to be doing on a day to day basis?
Drive month end / forecast processes to support the eCom business continue to deliver an impressive double-digit EBITDA growth. Timely production of monthly management reporting packs. Create commentary and be a key contributor to forecast / budget cycles (including 5 year plan). Engage with colleagues in Manchester to implement month end process improvements. Ensure costs are correctly allocated. Foster a communication led approach to problem solving. Actively partner with eCom executives where possible to deliver increased accuracy in management information. Reliably monitor CAPEX and below the line exceptional costs.
What will make me right for the role?
You will be a recently qualified accountant with up to 2 years post-qualification experience (ACA / CIMA / ACCA). Knowledge of month end close processes and a demonstrable ability to track and control P&L/Balance Sheet movements along with the necessary commentary are required. Previous experience in an FP&A environment is preferred as is the ability operate with a value-adding approach. Systems literacy essential as is the ability to operate in an agile and responsive manner.
