Group Finance Manager (9 month FTC)
Why is our Financial Reporting Accountant (9 month fixed term contract) role right for you?
Working within the core of Group Finance will give you a view on the complete financial performance of our business globally. Providing financial transparency to our Board and Shareholders you will consolidate our Business Unit performance to create a Group view. You will analyse these results and provide a commentary around key movements within the Group balances. You will develop a network of contacts across the divisional finance units enabling you to rectify and resolve any challenges swiftly and collaboratively. This opportunity will also require you to operate flexibly providing support to information requests in connection with significant corporate actions/activities.
What can you expect to be doing on a day to day basis?
You will own the monthly consolidation process adopting a continuous improvement approach to efficiency and error reduction. Analysing, interpreting and explaining Group expenditure you will also be involved in the production of Group Annual Reports, Interim Reports, Statutory Accounts and contributing to the Group Financial Planning and Forecasting process. You can also expect a significant amount of ad hoc analytical and project work to form part of this position.
What will make me right for the role?
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) having gained group reporting experience within a complex organisation environment. Familiarity with complex systems and processes is essential along with a deadline focus, excellent interpersonal and rapport building skills and a strong sense of commercial awareness. Ideally you will be available immediately or on a short notice period.
