Based in Gateshead at our Team Valley offices, you will be part of Worldpay’s biggest operations centre. Our Gateshead teams are the frontline when it comes to dealing with our customers and making sure we deliver the best levels of service possible.

The Corporate Omni-Channel Support Team plays a vital role in providing essential support to Worldpay’s corporate customers who are invested in one of Worldpay’s integrated payment solutions such as the flag ship Worldpay Total.  Our corporate customers expect world class service, which your team will be responsible for delivering in line with our ‘Corporate Support Charter’.

 

How will you add value on a day-today basis?

Working towards service level targets, you will handle a wide range of queries for our corporate customers and support the end-to-end resolution of any customer queries.  We have a number of customers who have subscribed to our new ‘point-to-point’ encryption (P2PE) terminals. You will therefore be part of the team that is required to provide these customers with 24/7 technical support and account management working closely with colleagues based in our Indore and London offices.

You are expected to develop a good understanding of your customers, working closely with them and providing prompt, accurate advice to ensure speedy and professional resolutions to issues. You will adhere to standard operating principles and business quality standards, pro-actively seeking appropriate opportunities to generate additional income for Worldpay through cross-selling activities.

Whilst your main duties will be to assist P2PE and WorldPay total customers, you may also be required to help the wider corporate team with day to day tasks ensuring workloads are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.

 

What will make you the ideal candidate?

Ideally you will come from a customer service background, and be able to pick up systems quickly. You will be able to manage your own workload effectively and show evidence of the ability to meet tight deadlines. You will be a good team player and have a positive attitude towards you work and colleagues alike. Experience of dealing with technical queries or issues would be advantageous though not essential. Additionally, we welcome applications from candidates with a retail background who may be used to working with ‘point-of-sale’ terminal and processes.   

         

ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS:

You will be on a 3 day on 3 day off shift pattern which will involve working weekends if your rotation falls on these days. The hours of your shift will be 8am-8pm (subject to change)

£18000 + Benefits
