Our Gateway Support is the behind the scenes team looking after our corporate customers with their day-to-day technical requirements, from initial setup advice through to end to end integration of our payment solutions. The team is motivated by daily challenges to provide personalised answers for all queries and to go the extra mile on client by client basis, rather than being simply process driven and looking at how many calls they’ve taken.  This is a great team of focussed individuals that provides the very best technical support to our wide range of customer and we are looking for you to join us. 

 

How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?

By managing new customer integration from the moment the sale has been made to the customer achieving live production volumes, you’ll be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line technical support to some of the UK’s largest retailers – you’ll have an impact on millions of high street shoppers on a daily basis!

You’ll become the go to person on integration instructions for the Gateway and an advisor as to the best methods of integration to meet the customer’s requirements and all aspects of customisation available on our platform.

You’ll be expected to develop an understanding for the regulatory controls and audit requirements to accordingly advice customers to comply with Worldpay, FCA, PCI and legal policies and standards so there’s a lot to learn but we are happy to provide all the training you need. There’s also a whole range of online resources available to all Worldpay employees through our academy help you develop this knowledge.

What will make you the ideal candidate?

You have a charming and efficient telephone manner and thrive in a fast-paced business environment. You enjoy variety and rise to challenges in a way that develops both you as a person and your relationship with our customers.

We are a FinTech support function, so you’ll be expected to know HTML coding, ideally with CSS / XML / JavaScript, Client / server principals. A knowledge of web server and application technologies and at least 1 programming language like, PHP / .NET / Ruby / Java and Windows, OSX and/or Linux operating systems would make you the ideal candidate.
