Why is our Senior Procurement / Sourcing Coordinator role right for you?

Located in our London Head Office in the heart of the City, you will be working as part of our Strategic Supplier Management (SSM) function. This role significantly supports our engagement and ongoing management of our 3rd party suppliers across several key categories. Directly contributing towards our strategic goals, you will identify and implement sourcing solutions that comply with our regulatory and governance guidelines. Through usage of data, insight and analysis you will add value to stakeholder decisions in a controlled and commercial manner.


What will you be doing on a day to day basis?

Supporting our Group Technology and Engineering (GTE) area, on a global basis with an annual spend in the region of £130m, you will be supporting product, innovation, hardware, licensing and support services.  Involved from the start of relationships / sourcing requirements you will be the pivot point around which RFPs are raised and reviewed, suppliers recommended, ongoing supplier relationships are performance measured and queries are resolved. Engaging with business stakeholders and other members of the SSM team you will gather, collate, analyse and present information (typically via excel driven data analysis) in line with the needs of key business stakeholders. Employing the appropriate tools and technologies you will continually look to evolve our sourcing and "best practice" methodologies through appropriate challenge to existing operational and thought processes. You will also contribute to SSM project delivery in a positive, collaborative and proactive manner.

Familiarity with Technology and Technology suppliers (hardware, software, professional services) is essential in addition to at least 18 months previous experience in a sourcing/buying orientated position.

Previous experience of using Excel for analysis is of high importance to be successful in securing this opportunity.
