Working as part of our growing Collections and Recoveries function is much more than picking up the phone to collect money. Our Corporate Collections team are responsible for the Account management and recovery of debt for customers in Worldpay's Corporate portfolio.

How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?

The Corporate Collections Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high profile business customers, proactively partnering with our merchants and providing dedicated support by phone, e-mail and face to face meetings. You will build effective internal and external relationships, working closely with our Relationship Management and wider collections teams to provide advice and guidance to our merchants. The key to this role is ensuring the risk of large arrears on our debt ledger are minimise through cash allocation, negotiation, setting up direct debits and undertaking query management through to resolution. You have a high degree of initiative, resilience and ownership and are always looking for the best solution to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, whilst maximising collections. You will undertake all these tasks whilst operating in line with FCA, DPA and Banking Code Regulations.

What will make you the ideal candidate?

Ideally, you will have gained experience working in a similar role within a fast paced environment. You will have experience in a customer support role, where you have dealt with corporate (business-to-business) customers. You will have a good working knowledge of Excel and be comfortable with working in a high volume environment. You will be a confident communicator who can prioritise and manage their time effectively to adhere to deadlines. You will have a good knowledge of credit control and it is desirable for you to have previous experience of working in a regulated environment.
