What can you expect to be doing on a day to day basis?
Supporting the VP of Worldpay UK Finance and other finance and business leaders, you will take ownership of financial analytics supporting the business towards achieving EBITDA targets. You will promote an environment that provides customer facing actionable analysis and insight (rather than fundamental data analysis). Identifying trends and patterns using system tools such as SQL, VBA and Tableau your outputs will help the business understand performance and reduce inefficiencies. You will continue to own, manage and develop the SQL based Forecasting and Budgeting tool that helps our sales team review performance and drive results. You will need to engage with a wide range of stakeholders to formulate projects of commercial value, setting clear timelines for delivery, and a sound understanding of the ultimate benefits to be delivered.
Managing a team of 4, you can also expect to take responsibility for all people management and training ensuring continuous improvement in team output and delivery.
What will make me right for the role?
A persuading and influencing approach to stakeholder communication. Demonstrable experience of promoting, educating and growing business and data analysis, ideally within departments such as finance, sales, operations or product divisions. Advanced SQL, VBA and Excel skills in relation to the extraction, manipulation and analysis of large volumes of data. A spirited and supportive approach to people management.
PLEASE NOTE: This position can be either be based in our London Headquarters or our Manchester Business Service Support Centre. You can expect occasional travel in this role.
