Scheme Fees Manager

Scheme Fees Manager

Why is our Scheme Fees Manager right for you?

Within the Payments Industry, Scheme Fees play a significant role in the end-price that customers are ultimately charged. Whilst Worldpay is not responsible for setting Scheme Fees, we are responsible for ensuring that developments are captured internally and externally, systems/pricing changes adopted and that our customers are kept informed of changes impacting them. Within this role you will become a subject matter expert on all Scheme Fee related matters. You will engage and update relevant business partners in sales, marketing, pricing, finance and technology providing detailed analytics and insights and regular / appropriate updates.

What will you be doing on a day to day basis?

Engaging closely with Finance you will ensure the correct allocation and accounting of Scheme Fees combined with providing timely and accurate MI and invoice reports (to aid with month end close). You will explore variances in Scheme Fee movements and lead on the annual budget and quarterly forecasts. You will review all Scheme Fee updates/bulletins and ensure all internal and external stakeholders are duly updated and aware of any changes they need to make to their processes or where they need to advise external customers. You will guide business management in decision making and manage an information library to ensure all matters are documented and complete.

You will also be involved in the day to day management of a team of (up to) 3 analysts, including performance review and development of capabilities.

What will make me right for this role?

You will ideally have a background in finance (ACCA / CIMA) and familiarity with financial accounting requirements, month end close requirements, budgeting and forecasting. Strong communication skills are important (for the business partnering aspect of the role) as will be experience with SQL (for the analytical component of the role – if not SQL experience, macro level excel/VBA could also be beneficial). Any previous experience in people management/development would be a significant advantage.
