Data Quality Manager
Why is our Data Quality Manager role right for you?
Accurate data lies at the heart of all good commercial and strategic decision making. As a data driven technology led organisation, having a robust data quality strategy is essential to ensure we can devise a high standard of insights and commercial objectives. This position will see you adopt a key role in devising and implementing a data quality strategy. Standards created as part of this strategy will need to be agreed, communicated and employed throughout all areas of the Worldpay UK governance model.
Please note, this role can be based in either our Gateshead, Harrogate or Manchester office and can also support someone who is keen to partially work remotely.
What will you be doing on a day to day basis
You will take ownership of the data specification “dictionary” and ensure that data feeds continue to meet this specification. Through continuous monitoring of data quality you will ensure consistency and accuracy of KPI metrics. You will identify and prioritise data quality issues and align with business change projects and BAU KPI reporting. This will necessitate you to perform ad hoc analytical tasks to help the business understand trading performance (ie Sales completed, lead conversion ratios, customer onboarding etc). Supporting and helping optimise trading performance, you will also be involved in developing and introducing new analytical models.
What will make me right for the role?
You should have at least 3 years experience in an analytical or business intelligence role with a high level of comfort operating with financial data. Demonstrable experience of having previously identified data quality issues and setting about devising and implementing technology led solutions is imperative. Comfort with auditing data to a governance framework, understanding data process flows and familiarity with a large complex corporate environment are the typical hallmarks for success in this role. Systems wise, we are looking for you to have experience with SQL and preferably Tableau and other Business Intelligence tools for presenting and analysing data.
