Why is our Implementation Manager the next step for you?
The eCommerce division is booming. With significant revenue increases year on year, the business is the engine room of our global strategy. As experts in what we do, we operate across verticals that represent the most exciting opportunities for global eCommerce growth – Digital Content, Global Retail, Airlines, Regulated Gambling and Travel – and in doing so we are privileged to partner with many of the world’s most dynamic organisations. Our strategic aim is to drive differentiated value for our customers by increasing their profitability and hence Worldpay’s share of wallet. To achieve this we aim to reach more customers in more markets, in local language and with local payment options.
Located in the beating heart of Japan’s capital, just moments from award-winning restaurants and bars, our Tokyo office is home to some of our most successful colleagues. They’re a diverse group who work hard to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers every day. While the work environment is fast-paced, our Tokyo team enjoys spending time together outside of work too. The team is growing, as our business in Japan expands. Want to be part of our success?
How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
The Implementation Manager is a technical expert that sits within our eCommerce division and will work directly with Worldpay’s sales teams and clients to develop and implement appropriate approaches to seamlessly integrate payment products. While working closely with our clients, you will plan and conduct training on product functionality.
Besides supporting our customers during implementation, on-boarding and induction, you will also support development of sales opportunities with prospects and existing customers about our current solutions.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
You will have some experience in managing multiple projects with external customers, preferably in an Implementation or Project Management role, ideally in a technical environment. Ideally you’ll have a technical background with an understanding of eCommerce (payments). It would be advantageous if you have work experience using web services and API’s built on SOAP or REST, using XML or JSON. We are a fast moving business, having good project management skills and strong communication skills are a must in order to be successful in the role. Also, you are comfortable in working with internal stakeholders and external customers. Besides fluency in Japanese, you have good English language skills.
