How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
Your role will be to source candidates for open vacancies in a variety of areas of our business, both here in the UK (London, Manchester, Cambridge, Gateshead etc.) and elsewhere around the world (San Francisco, Singapore, Amsterdam etc.). We won’t drop you in at the deep end – but once up to speed, you’ll typically be sourcing candidates for 10 to 20 roles at a time that could be in Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Product, Legal, Compliance, Project Management, Finance……. This includes finding active and passive candidates that match the technical and cultural requirements of the roles. You'll 'screen' candidates to assess their suitability - by telephone or video and in person. You'll also be involved in providing insight and advice to line managers around the availability of certain skills, salary requirements etc. You'll work closely with Talent Acquisition Business Partners and other members of the recruitment team in London and elsewhere.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
We are looking for a ‘switched on’ Recruiter or Resourcer who is naturally inquisitive and used to figuring out solutions. You will be someone who gets a buzz out of going to market and finding talent that others can’t find. You'll be confident in using a variety of tools and in building networks via various social media platforms.
We’re ideally looking for someone with a focus on the candidate sourcing stage of the recruitment life-cycle. Or you may have done end-to-end recruitment in the past, but prefer the sourcing stage. You may be an agency recruiter wanting to make the move in-house, or moving directly from a similar in-house role – we don’t mind. But we do want someone who is passionate about recruitment!
