Worldpay is a global leader in the Payments industry operating at the sharp edge of technology innovation. As such, we are continually reviewing our shape, structure and effectiveness. As part of this ongoing strategic review, we are looking to locate our HR Operations function in our Business Service Support Centre in the heart of Manchester’s Spinningfields. We are looking for an experienced HR Leader capable of creating, driving and developing a collaborative and high performing team. Ultimately taking responsibility for Group HR policy and procedure, oversight of our pre-employment screening process and guardianship of our HR data, you can also expect to take the lead in many group strategic projects.
What will I be doing on a day to day basis?
Through effective leadership you will support the Administration (8 pax – split as per below) and Payroll & Benefits (4 pax) teams in refining their processes to ensure continual improvement. Continually developing your team you will look to raise the bar, improve their skills and establish development pathways with the aim of home growing talent. You will ensure all policies remain compliant with internal and external legislation and align with our organisational “tone of voice”.
The newly formed HR Adviser team (5 pax) will provide telephone and face-to-face support to our UK based managers typically across: Capability, Absence Management, Disciplinary and Grievance as well as our Family friendly policies and processes.
The newly formed HR Admin (3 pax) team are responsible for resolving HR administrative queries for all aspects of the employee lifecycle, conducts pre-employment screening and on boarding, joiner, mover, leaver requests, coordinating travel visas, maintenance our HRIS and provision of monthly HR reporting.
What will make me right for the role?
You will have experience of managing/leading HR teams ideally in a large complex transformational organisational environment. You will have driven strategic HR driven initiatives, be an effective communicator, familiar with UK employment law and ideally hold an HR professional qualification.
