The eCommerce division is booming. With significant revenue increases year on year, the business is the engine room of our global strategy. To achieve this we aim to reach more customers in more markets, in local language and with local payment options.
In Amsterdam we have an office with about 55 colleagues (and 12 different nationalities!) covering the EMEA region.
How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
You will be targeting new corporate clients in the EMEA region, operating in the Digital Content space. You will build up new relationships from scratch, using a portfolio of target clients and attracting new ones. These new clients might be found from supplied leads or already known within your existing network. The role is strategic, engaging with senior stakeholders and is focused on delivering leading solutions to our customers that provide maximum value. The sales processes are often complex and sales cycles are long (6-18 months).
What will make you the ideal candidate?
You will have a proven track record of new business solution selling, ideally within ecommerce, software solutions or technology, working with large corporate customers. You are keen to learn (more) about payments and have an ability to deliver value and not sell on price. You will have gained international experiences or have such a background. Someone with an entrepreneurial background could fit well within our fast moving business. Other languages besides English are a plus and of course you will have excellent communication skills and experience in influencing key decision makers and stakeholders.
