Why is our Audit Manager position right for you?
Our Audit function is evolving. The FinTech industry is continuously evolving. The pace of change and transformation is significant. At Worldpay the necessity of effective and efficient processes and controls therefore becomes even more significant. With an unrestricted scope, the Audit team is the guardian of Worldpays global assets, reputation and sustainability. This role would be ideal for an experienced internal audit professional looking to combine leading the delivery of audits, engaging with senior level stakeholders and some people management/supervisory responsibilities.
What will I be doing on a day to day basis?
We are looking to deliver a continuously improving scope of audit work and value to the organisation. As is the nature of internal audit work, the variety of individual pieces is broad as is the skill and insight you will need to draw upon. In addition to the usual delivery aligned aspects, you can expect to provide support in areas such as contributing towards the annual audit plan and plan creation, development of executive presentations, Risk Committee presentations and supporting the recruitment and training of staff.
What will make me right for the role?
You will be an outgoing effective communicator; comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Having gained experience ideally both in a Top4 practice and within a commercial/corporate environment you will also be professionally qualified (ACA or similar) with a minimum of 7 years PQE.
Please be aware this role will involve up to 25% travel – predominantly in the UK, however overseas travel may be involved (US, Brazil most likely).
This role can be located in either Manchester or London and we welcome applications from candidates for either office.
