Our finance function in Manchester work collaboratively with the wider WPUK Finance Teams to ensure delivery of all finance reports that enable our business lines to run in a controlled, precise and accurate manner. This role will be responsible for supporting the UK with financial reporting, analysis and insight to ensure we can meet our financial commitments and performance targets as a business.


How will you add value on a day to day basis?

The role of WorldPay’s Financial Accounting team is to prepare, analyse, report and substantiate the financial results of the business in a well controlled, accurate and timely manner.

You will prepare and take ownership of maintaining the Fixed Asset Ledger, various monthly balance sheet and P&L reconciliations and preparation of accruals and prepayments.  You will also help support the general ledger team with delivery of the P&L and OPEX accounting, reporting and analysis at month end. You will also be a key contact within the business supporting with financial reporting, analysis and insight for fixed assets providing commentary and variance analysis around the forecast/ budget. 

You will help to identifying and drive continuous process improvements to the close process whilst maintaining a strong focus on Financial Control to improve the timeliness and accuracy of delivery.



What will make you the ideal candidate?

This role requires someone who has experience of financial analysis and ideally some fixed assets reporting exposure, you must be able to demonstrate experience of working complex data and in a high volume environment. We are looking for a pro-active individual with excellent attention to detail with a can do attitude and enthusiasm to drive results.

Building strong relationships with the team as well stakeholder across the wider business will be a key part of this role so you must be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Technically you will have advanced Excel skills, ideally you will have gained experience working with Oracle systems.  Ideally you will also be part qualified (ACCA/ACA).
