This is an exciting role and central to our customer acquisition plan in the coming years. You’ll be developing brand campaigns, running events & creating strategy to drive the business forward. And if that’s not enough, you’ll be working in a collaborative and fun Marketing team. You’ll have autonomy to run your campaigns and to make things happen. You’ll also have the support of a wider Marketing team and other key departments around the business.
How will you add value on a day-to-day basis?
Your role will be crucial to delivering the business sales numbers and as well as planning future campaigns there will be the day to day tasks of implementing content marketing, briefing agencies, running events and developing partner marketing activities. An attention to detail is critical as you may also need to sign off marketing materials and ensure that articles going into the newsletter or various media channels are accurate and error free. Communication is also paramount. Once we’ve created these campaigns we’ll need to share them with other teams and engage the business to ensure everyone is aligned on the plan.
What will make you the ideal candidate?
First and foremost you’ll need to be great at communication, but you should also understand the SME market and the media channels to reach them. You should also have a structured approach to campaign management with the ability to manage stakeholders of all levels. Agency management is critical and knowing how to get the best from them is a must. And lastly a commercial approach and ROI thinking is essential. You might have worked in a media background and will have managed agencies.
